Denotation - The poster is of the rapper 50 Cent, on the right of the poster is his finger prints and a quote from him. He is promoting the brand RBK(Reebok). Connotation - From this poster I can  identitfy  that the finger prints are to indicate 50cents a criminal which he is known for being as an individual or when he's rapping. This will attract the  audience  as they'd think if they buy RBK they will gain his personality and become more like 50Cent as he could be their idols and instantiation. The image of 50Cent himself is as if he's dressed for war as he is wearing a camouflaged hat which is usually used in the army or to hide away from enemies. This is another indication of his thug appearance that all his fans admire about him.  Colour - The poster is  monochromatic   which gives the impression that he's done something that's not legal and that its taken all the joy from his life as its colourless. It also shows the presence and the dominance 50ce
