Your opinion on public service broadcasting
1) Should the BBC retain its position as the UK’s public service broadcaster?
BBC should keep their position of being a public service provider as its had a great history of being one of the first tv channels and it would be a big change for bbc as they would be taking a risk by getting sponsors and advertisements.
2) Is there a role for the BBC in the 21st century digital world?
i do think there's a place for BBC for multi media as they have their own sites which give straight away information from current or old affairs. Also, they have an app which would update you on current situations and give pop ups of whats going on in ur local area. overall, BBC is evolving with the 21st century digital world as its easy to access their content.
3) Should the BBC funding model (license fee) change? How?
BBC funding model should not change as large population use it and bbc offer news and education and by increasing the license fee all for this it would significantly decrease and less people who view bbc as itll lead to people being unable to view a lot of the content.
